
Horseradish Butter
Our prime, lean beef deserves nothing but the best when it comes to accompaniments! From sauces and butters to glazes and marinades, there’s a world of ideas out there - try our Horseradish Butter, it’s perfect dotted over freshly-carved slices of beef. Be sure to take the butter out of the fridge well before you begin this recipe, so that it has time to come up to room temperature. Makes 6 servings.
Ingredients
50g Unsalted Butter, at room temperature
1 clove Garlic, peeled and crushed
1 tbsp fresh Horseradish, grated finely, or 2tsp Greendale Creamed Horseradish
10 fresh Chives, snipped finely
Sea Salt and freshly ground Black Pepper
Method
Place the butter in a mixing bowl and beat until soft, then add the garlic, horseradish, chives and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until well combined, then transfer to a small dish and serve alongside your roast – it’s perfect dotted over freshly-carved slices of beef.
