Powderkeg Brewery
This multi-award-winning micro-brewery is based here at Greendale. Powderkeg beers are hand-crafted in small batches, naturally carbonated and matured to their best on-site at the brewery. White fish and cider may be an unlikely pairing, but when done right, the subtle sweetness of the cider plays off the freshness of the fish in the best way. Our favourite white fish for this recipe are our fresh Hake and Pollock, we urge you to give it a try!
Scrumpy BBQ Pork Skewers
Pork and apples definitely have an affinity, and cider-marinated barbecued pork is a lovely (if not particularly traditional) way to enjoy this tasty pairing. The skewers take moments to put together and to cook, but please be aware that you’ll need to leave at least one hour’s marinating time for this recipe.
