MONTHLY CAR EVENT

Cars & Cuppas

If you’re a car enthusiast, come to our free Father's Day Cars & Cuppas event on Sunday 16th June from 9am-1pm. An event for owners of classic, performance and sports cars (and motorbikes), it’s a great chance for our customers to chat all things automobile with friendly, like-minded folk. 

Entry is free for spectators. If you'd like to display your car, advance tickets are £5.

Our next events include our Italian-themed Evening Meet on 28th June from 6pm-9pm with Artisan Pizzeria. Enjoy the lighter evenings with an array of fantastic cars and a takeaway pizza or Greendale fish and chips!

June Pop-Up Weekend

Join us for another Greendale pop-up weekend this weekend! Every month, we play host to some fantastic local businesses selling their Devon crafted goods. From arts and crafts to textiles and homewares, you’ll definitely find something unique for yourself or a loved one, and support small businesses at the same time!

7th July, 3pm-5pm

Princess Afternoon Tea

Bring your little ones to Greendale Farm Shop on Sunday 7th July and enjoy a very special afternoon with Disney princesses as your hosts!

From 3pm – 5pm, the princesses will be hosting a right royal afternoon tea, featuring songs, games and plenty of fun.

Children can enjoy sandwiches, cake and crisps with squash, while accompanying adults can also book a tea if wished (see ticket prices below) to include a selection of sandwiches, scones and cake with tea or coffee.

Places are limited, so please book to avoid disappointment; all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Baby Bees Sensory Sessions

Come and explore a Summer Story through song and play. Themed outfits are encouraged! The farm shop will be open as usual if you wish to stay afterwards for a Coffee or explore of the animals. There is plenty of room to leave pushchairs in the room, so please feel free to bring these. 

We have 3 sessions available: 0-16 months at 9.30am-10.15am, 0-12 months at 10.30am-11.15am, 10-16 months at 11.30am-12.15pm

Summer Quiz Night

If you enjoy a good quiz, why not join us here at Greendale Kitchen on 11th March at 7pm for our Summer Quiz night! We’ll be serving up Greendale Hot Dogs and Chips then settling in for a multi-round general knowledge quiz, so grab your friends and get your thinking-caps on!

Places are limited, so please book to register your place (ticket price includes food). Teams of up to 6 people.

Thursdays in the Summer Holidays

Crafts with Chloe

Join us for Thursday afternoon sessions throughout the Summer Holidays and learn a new art or craft each week. Taught by artist Chloe, shop supervisor here at Greendale, little ones will be talked through each activity and then given time to learn and explore each craft themselves.

Fairytale Festival

Introducing our ✨ Fantasy Festival ✨ hosted by Lydia Bailys & Co on Sunday 4th August, 12-4pm.

We'll be joined by all of your favourite characters including Snow White, Belle, Cinderella, Ana, Moana, Rapunzel and more! We'll have... Character Meet & Greets, Live Shows & Singers, Hair Braids, Circus Workshops, Bouncy Castles, Face Painting plus many more activities. 

All profits from this event are going to be donated to providing FREE entertainment for the local community, charitable donations to organisations who would not normally be able to afford Lydia Bailys' services and to vulnerable children. 

10th August @ Exeter Castle

Love Local Food Festival

We’re super-excited to announce the first ever Greendale Love Local Food Festival! Bringing a taste of the countryside to Exeter city centre, this family-friendly event takes place on August 10th at historic Exeter Castle from 10am until 7pm. 

We’ll be hosting plenty of foodie experiences, street food, live music, a traditional bar, al fresco cocktails, children’s activities and more. Take a deep dive into the local food scene with ice cream and cheese making demos, gin and chocolate tasting experiences and more. We’ll be setting up stalls in the castle itself and in the courtyard, seconds away from the High Street – we’d love for you to join us! The event is completely free – no tickets required!

19th August, 2pm-5pm

Childrens Pottery Workshop

The talented Mud & Moor will be joining us here at Greendale Farm Shop on Monday 19th August to lead a special pottery class just for kids aged 7+. After guiding the workshop through making your choice of animal, Mud & Moor will take each creation away to be fired in their kiln, then return it to the Farm Shop for collection one week later.

Places are limited to just 10, so booking is essential; the cost is £25 per child (please pay £7.50 deposit to Greendale when making your booking, with the remaining £17.50 to be paid to Mud & Moor on the day).

Bird Bath Pottery Workshop

This special evening pottery workshop is a great opportunity to create your own, unique clay Bird Bath.

Join us at Greendale Farm Shop from 6:30pm-9pm on Monday 19th August, where Laura from Mud and Moor Pottery will show you how to create a beautiful decorative Bird Bath.

All materials and tools included.

Thursday 22nd August, 5-8pm

Summer Tasting Evening

End your summer with a special celebration of much-loved local brands! We'll be hosting food and drink tastings all evening, plus, the Greendale Deli, Bakery Butcher and Fishmonger counters will of course be packed with great produce!

Jay's Aim Colour Run

Hosted here at the farm shop, the Jay's Aim Colour Run offers fun for all the family! With 5k and 10k course options for running or walking, 5 colour stations on each course and medals for all finishers, there's something for everyone. All proceeds will go towards the incredibly important work of the Jay's Aim charity.
