It’s part of life as a Farm Shop that, for several different reasons, stock sometimes becomes unavailable. We like to sell fresh, seasonal items, and the supply can be affected in lots of ways (for example, the catch from our boats can vary considerably). We work with small, local suppliers, and - to avoid food waste - we don’t buy in bulk, so sometimes demand outpaces supply. If you have asked us to make substitutions we will always choose relevant items, of similar taste, quality and purpose. Our knowledgeable team are experts of their departments, and are always able to recommend the next best thing. If the substitute is more expensive than the item you ordered, we will only charge you for the item chosen originally. If you would prefer not to receive substitutions in the future, simply opt-out during the checkout. Please note: refunds will not be issued for substitute items.
