Meet the Greendale Butchers
To celebrate National Butcher's Week (Monday 4th - Sunday 10th March) we want to showcase the talented team behind the Greendale butcher counter. Our skilled butchers are passionate about providing our customers with the best quality meat, and the enthusiasm each of them has for their work shines through in the fantastic service they provide. We caught up with the team and asked them to share a little about themselves, and we've put together a short bio for each of our butchers for a whistle-stop tour of the team!

- How Long At Greendale? 2.5 years
- Favourite Thing About Being a Butcher? Preparing the fore-quarters to make shin of beef, rib, brisket, chuck steak, neck and more.

- Favourite Thing About Being a Butcher? Boning, trimming and rolling a brisket to make a nice looking joint

- Hobbies & Activities Outside of Work? Playing golf and walking his two Cockapoos Beamer and Enzo

- Favourite Thing About Being a Greendale Butcher? Love the atmosphere and good old fashioned customer service. Cracking on with it the old school way and doing whatever you're told.. including making Stu a cuppa!

- Hobbies & Activities Outside of Work? Lego fanatic - Star Wars, Mandalorian, even building MOCs (his own creations)

- Hobbies & Activities Outside of Work? Fishing obsession! Carp fishing since 12 years old, and going on walks with his dogs - Finn the Beagle and Diesel the Fox Red Lab.

- How Long At Greendale? 8 years
- Favourite Thing About Being a Butcher? The traditional butchers process, from breaking down the carcass, through to making our sausages and mince.
- Hobbies & Activities Outside of Work? Going walking with his border collie, and watching football and American football matches
