Greendale Scarecrow Trail - Entries welcome!

Greendale Farm Shop is creating a new, family-friendly Scarecrow Trail, and we’d love as many local people to take part as possible!

Make Your Own Scarecrow Competition!
Our Scarecrow Competition is open to all local organisations, groups and primary schools in the Devon area.
The scarecrows will be displayed along a purpose-built trail, and members of the public will be able to vote for their favourites via a QR code; the winner will be announced in October, with Greendale offering a sweet reward for the wining team and a donation to the foodbank of their choice.
Scarecrows can be made from any materials, though we’d encourage the use of recycled items, and (as they will be outdoors), they’ll need to be fairly weather-proof.
Each scarecrow should fit within a 1m x 1m ‘footprint’, and we will provide a stake for support, you can collect this from the farm shop before you start or we can attach on arrival.
Entries need to be dropped off at Greendale Farm Shop by 6th October, together with any “making of’ photos, to be displayed alongside them.
If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you! To find out more, contact Richard Jones at the Farm Shop on 01395 232836 or email info@greendale.com
