Mild-tasting Marrows (fully grown Courgettes) are a perfect foil for strong and spicy flavours. They work well in curries, and can also be stuffed with meat or stronger-flavoured cheeses and baked for a filling and nutritious meal. Store in the refrigerator.

Product Info

Marrows come from the same family as the melon, cucumber, squash and courgette (they are actually courgettes that have been left on the plant to grow larger and longer). Great paired with robust flavours, marrows are in season until the end of the summer, so make the most of them while you can!

Origins

We work hard to ensure that the fruit and vegetables we sell are fresh and high in quality. If we don’t grow them ourselves, we source them from carefully chosen suppliers, preferring to buy locally whenever possible.

How to Cook

As well as curries, casseroles and stews, Marrows can be added to home-made pickles and chutneys.

Local Delivery £4.95 (Free on orders over £50) - We offer local delivery for customers living in the EX1 to EX5, & EX8 to EX11 postcode areas. Choose a ‘specified day’(Monday to Sunday) during checkout. Please note: All orders to the remaining EX postcodes will be delivered using our standard national courier.

National Delivery £7.95 (Free on orders over £50) - We offer nationwide delivery. Choose a delivery date (Monday to Sunday) during checkout.

Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
