Marriage's Millers source much of the wheat they use from farmers based within a 25-30 mile radius of our historic Essex site, Chelmer Mills. Many of these local farmers come from families who have supplied Marriage's for generations. They also use wheat from farms just a few miles away that are owned by the Marriage family. Essex is the best wheat-growing area in the country and sourcing locally helps us to reduce food miles. When needed, we add a proportion of very high protein Canadian Red wheat.

Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
