This Whole Salmon is supplied by the wonderful Loch Duart Salmon Farm in Scotland. Cleaned and scaled, it will make a stunning centrepiece for a special buffet or celebratory meal.
Please note that, because fish naturally vary in size, we will always adhere to the pack weights given for ‘whole’ fish. At times, one large whole fish will be enough to make up the weight, at other times it may be two or more smaller fish; so, although the number of fish supplied may change between orders, the weight received will always remain the same. Please be aware that a description of a fish as ‘boned’ means that, although the fishmongers will have removed the bones to the best of their ability, we cannot guarantee that any piece of fish will be entirely bone-free.

As a rough guide, when you’re buying a whole, unprepared salmon allow about 350-400g per person.
Despite its impressive appearance, whole salmon can be cooked fairly simply by wrapping it in foil – add herbs, lemon and a drizzle of oil – and baking in a moderate oven for 50-60 minutes.

Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
