Children's Parties Terms and Conditions

Standard Party Package: 

Our standard party package will include Invitations, hot food/picnic food and activity booklet per child, a Greendale Farm Trail Tour, Two hours access to our party room (with decorations and Bluetooth speaker). The cost will be £15 per child. Please note the minimum party size is 10 children, maximum 20 children. 

Extra Services Available:  

• Party Bags - £2 per child (48 hours’ notice required) 
• Meet & Greet with Princess or Superhero - £150 for 1 hour (mini disco, glitter tattoos, party games, party prizes) 14 days’ notice required. Subject to availability. 
• Disco with Party Games - £180 for 2-hour disco (party games) 14 days’ notice required. 
• Ice Cream - £2 per child. 48 hours’ notice required. 
• Birthday Cake - £40 serves 12, £50 serves 30. 7 days’ notice required. 
• Paint Your Own Pottery - £15 per child. 14 days’ notice required. Subject to availability. Pottery will need to be collected a week later once glazed. 

1. Bookings/Deposits/Balance payments:
   1. A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your booking. Payments can be made in cash or by debit/credit card.  
   2. Through payment of this deposit, you are deemed to have read, understood, and accepted our terms and conditions and safety notice. You accept that you and your representatives are always ultimately responsible for the supervision of the children in the party while on Greendale’s premises. 
   3. In the event of your cancellation of a party (for any reason whatsoever) deposits will not be refunded. In certain circumstances a transfer of deposit to an alternative date may be considered but is at the absolute discretion of Greendale.  
   4. Balance payments are due on the day of your party and will be required prior to commencement. Final numbers must be confirmed 48 hours before the party is due to take place. Your confirmed final number is the minimum number you will be charged for. While we shall endeavour to cater for unexpected guests, please be aware that this may not always be possible. Payment for additional guests must be made at the time of entry. 
   5. Party packages can be downgraded or upgraded prior to the party date (see notice periods above).  
   6. We reserve the right to decline your booking and provide a refund of your deposit. 
   7. When there are fewer guests than our required minimum number you will be charged for the required minimum number of 10. 

2.  Food & Drink and Allergens:
   1. Allergens, intolerances and ingredients: Please ask a member of our team who can provide allergen information for party food and drink. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any specific dietary requests or changes to our standard menu. We use many ingredients and shared equipment in our kitchens every day. Whilst we do our best to manage the cross-contamination of ingredients, we cannot guarantee that our food meets allergen-free levels. Information on our food concerning the 14 ingredients regarded as allergens by the Food Standards Agency, is available on request. We recommend that party guests with allergies, intolerances or food hypersensitivities bring in their own food for consumption, with prior authorisation. This food should be stored in a sealed and labelled container and must remain the responsibility of the accompanying adult. The accompanying adult is responsible for managing any food consumed by any guests with allergies, intolerances or food hypersensitivities at all times.  
   2. Greendale provides birthday cakes (Ingredients and allergen information available on request). Cakes brought by the host can be refrigerated onsite. No other food or drink may be brought onto the premises without prior consent from Greendale. 
   3. Further to the introduction of Natasha's Law (1/10/21) it is the responsibility of the party parents/host(s) to inform their guests of the ingredients and allergen information for any birthday cake that you supply for your party. 
   4. Each party group will be allocated the number of chairs and tables needed for the number of children confirmed when making the booking.   
   5. Please note that any complaints regarding party food must be raised on the day of the party. 

3. Safety Information
   1. While Greendale staff and management endeavour to ensure the safety of all visitors, it remains the responsibility of accompanying adults (a person aged 18 or over) to supervise the children in their care while visiting Greendale.  All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and remain the responsibility of said adult at all times. 
   2. Parents and guardians know their child’s capabilities and behaviour best and should ensure an appropriate level of supervision to reflect this. 
   3. In the event of an emergency evacuation of the building, our staff will take immediate action to guide all children to the nearest fire exit. 
   4. The Greendale Team are here to help adults and children to make sure that everyone has a good time.  Please be aware, however, that it is company policy not to tolerate any abusive or aggressive behaviour towards our team or other customers.  Any such behaviour may result in customers being asked to leave the premises. Please note that any complaints must be raised on the day of the party. 
   5. Group/ party organisers must ensure that there are an adequate number of adults present for the supervision of the children.  
   6. Strictly no smoking or vaping on the premises. 
   7. If you are unable to locate any children from the party, ask one of the team and we will help find them.  Please inform us if you or your any of the children has any sort of accident, however minor, so they can be checked out by a trained first aider. 
   8. Children who are unwell, or who have been unwell, should not visit the family room for at least 48 hours. Children who become unwell whilst in the family room, must leave the family room immediately. 
   9. All visits must be undertaken in line with any current Government restrictions. 

4. General Information
   1. The customer holding the party is entirely responsible for the shoes, gifts, coats and other clothing at all times. Please be aware that the management does not accept responsibility for customers’ property lost or damaged on the premises. 
   2. Should you encounter any difficulties during your party, please ask for a supervisor immediately, who will endeavour to resolve any issues on the spot. 
   3. There will be a dedicated member of the Greendale team available to administer arrivals and organise your party room. Party parent/guardian will be responsible for the care and supervision of all guests, including children who are left by their parents whilst attending your child’s party.  
   4. We will provide room decorations for your party (ballons and a Happy Birthday Banner). Other decorations brought by the organiser may be used at the discretion of the Management. The party organiser will be granted access to the party room one hour before the party time. The organiser will be responsible for the care and supervision of all guests when using any additional decorations or hosting any extra activities.   
   5. Parent and adult guests are welcome to watch the Birthday celebration in the party room. You are welcome to photograph/film your party however it is the responsibility of the organiser to seek permission from the children’s parents prior to the party.  
   6. Parties wishing to bring or use the services of additional companies/entertainers, must be approved by Greendale. A valid public liability insurance certificate will be required at least 7 days prior to your party to allow participation. 
   7. Please ensure your guests arrive at the party room no more than 10 minutes prior to your party start time.
