Origins

Greendale Farm Shop delicatessen is an Aladdin’s Cave of wonderful local cheeses, hand-made pies and pasties, charcuterie and sliced cold meats fresh from our farm. The Deli team use meat from our butchers and vegetable from the shop to make these delicious pasties by hand each day.

How to Cook

How to cook Preheat the oven to 220°C (fan 200°C/gas mark 7), and place the raw pasty on greaseproof paper on a baking tray. Whisk an egg to create a wash, then brush it over the pasty until all the pastry is covered. Put the pasty in the hot oven and cook for 10 minutes, then lower the oven temperature to 180°C (fan 160°C/gas mark 4) and cook for 45 minutes more, until golden. The inside of the pasty should be piping hot and cooked medium/well; this may produce a few red areas on the steak, this is normal.

Click & Collect FREE - Order online and collect from our Farm Shop, You can choose to collect on a ‘specified day’ (Monday to Sunday) during checkout. We will email you when your produce is ready for collection.

Local Delivery £4.95 (Free on orders over £50) - We offer local delivery for customers living in the EX1 to EX5, & EX8 to EX11 postcode areas. Choose a ‘specified day’(Monday to Sunday) during checkout. Please note: All orders to the remaining EX postcodes will be delivered using our standard national courier.

National Delivery £7.95 (Free on orders over £50) - We offer nationwide delivery. Choose a delivery date (Monday to Sunday) during checkout.

Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
