Having spotted it scooping Gold awards from both Taste of the West and Devon County Show in 2023, we’ve been keen to stock this uniquely delicious cheese from Sharpham Dairy in south Devon. A fresh, rich and crumbly cheese, it’s speckled throughout with locally hand-harvested seaweed, giving a subtle and savoury ‘umami’ finish to the classic Sharpham Rustic. Suitable for vegetarians.

Product Info

Sharpham Rustic with Dulse & Sea Lettuce is a fresh, rich and crumbly cheese laced with gems of locally hand-harvested seaweed. The addition of seaweed gives a subtle, savoury, umami finish to the classic Sharpham Rustic.

It’s delicious on its own and will be a unique and flavoursome addition to any cheese board, in fact it has already been recognised at the Taste of the West Awards. Perfect with a glass of Sharpham Rosé.

Origins

Based on the Sharpham Estate in South Devon, this thousand-year-old farm consists of five hundred acres owned by the Sharpham Trust. The house, designed in 1770 by Sir Robert Taylor, overlooks the fields and wooded slopes above the River Dart, two miles downstream from the ancient market town of Totnes. Sharpham aims to farm successfully in the modern context and to produce world-class wine and cheese in harmony with the environment and the natural beauty of the Estate.

Click & Collect FREE - Order online and collect from our Farm Shop, You can choose to collect on a ‘specified day’ (starting approx. one week from ordering) during checkout. We will email you when your produce is ready for collection.

Local Delivery £4.95 (Free on orders over £50) - We offer local delivery for customers living in the EX1 to EX5, and EX8 to EX11 postcode areas. Choose a ‘specified day’ during checkout.  Please note: All orders to the remaining EX postcodes will be delivered using our standard national courier.

National Delivery £7.95 (Free on orders over £50) - We offer nationwide delivery. Choose a delivery date during checkout.

Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
