Widely regarded as one of the best hams on the planet, dry-cured Serrano ham is a delicious taste of Spain - we love to enjoy it simply, with good bread and some tasty olives from our Deli.
Dry-cured ham is a longstanding Spanish tradition; written references to it date back to the Roman Empire. Historically, fresh ham was cured in mountainous areas with moderate climates (warm and dry in summer, cold in the winter). Following a preliminary application of sea salt, the hams were washed and then hung in curing sheds where the mountain, or sierra (serrano) air aided the gradual aging of the meat. After about a year this process yielded dry-cured Serrano hams that ready for consumption, without any kind of additive or additional handling. Nowadays, Serrano ham is produced throughout Spain, using careful methods designed to replicate the traditional process.
Store in the refrigerator and consume before use-by date on wrapper.

National Delivery From £7.95 - Order before 2pm and receive your items the next day, between 8am and 8pm. You can also specify whether you’d like it delivered in the morning or on a different day (up to seven days in the future, Tuesday to Sunday).
Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
