Serves 3 - 5. Frozen Item - Store in fridge and consume within 2-3 days of receipt. Unsuitable for re-freezing.

Greendale sausages are made with pork, lamb and beef from our family farm in Devon. We follow strict animal welfare guidelines at our farm; we also use a carefully chosen local abattoir, and butcher our meat on_site at Greendale Farm Shop. Making delicious, decent_quality sausages by hand is a skilled operation – luckily, we have Stuart and his team to make sure we get ours just right. From traditional pork bangers to beef with black pepper and even gluten_free varieties, Greendale has a great selection of this beloved family favourite.

Butcher's Tips

We make these Pigs in Blankets by hand at the Greendale Farm Shop, using our own sausages and slices of our finest streaky bacon – it’s a fiddly job, but we think you’ll agree the end result is worth it!

How to Cook

To oven cook your Pigs in Blankets, preheat the oven to 200°C/gas mark 6, and place them on a baking tray. Cook in the hot oven for about 15 minutes until the sausages are cooked through and the bacon is crisp – you’ll need to turn them from time to time.

Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
