Origin Greendale Pheasant is either shot on Greendale farmland or bought from a local supplier near Crediton, Devon.

Butcher's Tips

Pheasant breast meat tends to be more tender, and more delicate in flavour, than that found on the legs.

How to Cook

To pan-fry, heat a generous knob of butter and a tablespoon of olive oil in a large, shallow pan. Add the Breast fillets and cook over a high heat for about 30 seconds on each side, then reduce the heat and cook for 5-6 minutes. Cook thoroughly until the juices run clear when pierced with a fork and there is no pink meat.

When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
