Origin Greendale Pheasant is either shot on Greendale farmland or bought from a local supplier near Crediton, Devon.

Butcher's Tips

Pheasant breast meat tends to be more tender, and more delicate in flavour, than that found on the legs.

How to Cook

To pan_fry, heat a generous knob of butter and a tablespoon of olive oil in a large, shallow pan. Add the Breast fillets and cook over a high heat for about 30 seconds on each side, then reduce the heat and cook for 5_6 minutes. Cook thoroughly until the juices run clear when pierced with a fork and there is no pink meat.

Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
