At 5.8% abv Otter Head is Otter's strongest beer - delivering an amazing rich flavour and aroma. Otter Head has a distinctive barley wine old ale character. It has a malt, fruit sweet flavour which gives way to a long bittersweet aftertaste. It has a well balanced aroma that reflects its taste and is deep red brown in colour.

Product Info

Otter believe that the key to brewing a great strong beer is to make it well-balanced with a good use of hops. This makes Otter Head easily drinkable and an excellent choice with food. Whilst it has a distinctive barley wine, old ale character it remains light to drink with a malty, fruity and slightly sweet flavour with a long bittersweet aftertaste. The fruit and malt aroma sits well with the beer’s deep, luxurious red/brown colour – still a firm favourite.

Origins

At Otter Brewery, based in Honiton, Devon (22 miles from Greendale), the whole family to play a role in building a brewery that reflects and respects the heritage of good beer production. Generations of experience have taught them that consistently good beer and service make for a brewery worth remembering. That is fundamental to everything that they do.

Click & Collect FREE - Order online and collect from our Farm Shop, You can choose to collect on a ‘specified day’ (starting approx. one week from ordering) during checkout. We will email you when your produce is ready for collection.

Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
