Manchego Cheese is produced in the La Mancha region of Spain, where it is made from the pure ewe's milk of Manchego sheep. It has a distinctive patterned rind and is a firm, open-textured cheese with a rich, nutty flavour.
Manchego Cheese can be made with unpasteurised or pasteurised milk. Before it is set to age, the cheese is brushed with olive oil, to lock in moisture and flavour while still allowing the cheese to breathe; it may be left to mature for more than a year. One of Spain’s most popular cheeses, Manchego is protected under PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) guidelines.
Keep refrigerated. Once opened, use within 5 days. For optimum freshness once opened, rewrap the cheese so it is well sealed and airtight to avoid it drying out.

Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
