Slender and tasty, our Gluten-Free Pork Chipolatas work well in slowly-cooked dishes – try them with mixed beans, onions, garlic, tomatoes and herbs for a delicious Provençal-style casserole.
Greendale sausages are made with pork, lamb and beef from our family farm in Devon. We follow strict animal welfare guidelines at our farm; we also use a carefully chosen local abattoir, and butcher our meat on-site at Greendale Farm Shop. Making delicious, decent-quality sausages by hand is a skilled operation – luckily, we have Stuart and his team to make sure we get ours just right. From traditional pork bangers to beef with black pepper and even gluten-free varieties, Greendale has a great selection of this beloved family favourite.
At the risk of stating the obvious; Chipolatas are a bit thinner than standard bangers, so do watch the cooking time carefully (but always make sure they’re cooked through properly before serving).
Don’t prick your sausages, however you choose to cook them – this will allow the juices to run out of the meat during cooking and cause the meat to become dry. To pan fry, heat a small splash of oil in a heavy-bottomed pan, then add the sausages and cook over a medium heat for 5-10 minutes, turning them regularly until nicely browned all over.

Standard National Delivery £7.95 - Order before 2pm and receive your items the next day, between 8am and 8pm. You can also specify whether you’d like it delivered in the morning or on a different day (up to seven days in the future, Tuesday to Friday).
Saturday & Sunday Delivery £10.00 - You can also choose to have your items delivered on Saturday or Sunday.
Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
