On Tuesdays, enjoy a Greendale burger, chips and a pint for only £12; on Wednesday nights we're offering 2-for-1 on fish & chips, and on Thursdays customers can save 20% on our prime farm-reared beef steaks. From farm-reared, expertly butchered meat and super-fresh fish to hand-made bread and locally grown veg, we insist that everything in the farm shop meets our exacting standards when it comes to quality, freshness and value. We love the way Sam and his team at the café source ingredients from the farm shop to create delicious new meals for their menu – it means we get to show off all the lovely produce to our customers, as well as (hopefully) inspiring them to try something new.

Food & drink to go!

In a hurry? Come to Oscar’s, our new takeaway – it’s the perfect place to pick up a drink, snack or ice-cream on the go. Named after Oscar the Ostrich (one of our Farm Trail’s most popular residents), it’s handily situated close to Greendale Farm Shop, and makes an ideal pit-stop after a walk along our Farm Trail or a quick visit to the shop. We’ve kept the menu simple, offering customer favourites from pasties, sausage rolls and pastries to traybakes and ice creams, with a great selection of hot and cold drinks, including seasonal ‘specials’.

Greendale Breakfast

Start the day with a tasty Greendale breakfast. From a classic 'Full English' featuring our own bacon and sausages,  to delicious scrambled eggs with Loch Duart smoked salmon, we have a wide selection of breakfast dishes to choose from. Breakfast is served from  8am to 12pm (Mon-Sat), 9am - 11.45am Sunday. 

 

Takeaway | Home Delivery

Fish & Chips

From 12 noon to 9:00 pm (Mon-Sat) and 12 noon to 8:30pm (Sun), we offer fish and chips cooked on the premises to our own special recipe. Collect in-store or have them delivered direct to your door, there's no excuse for not ordering Devon's finest Fish & Chips.

Our farm trail

If you’re planning to visit the farm shop, why not bring the children and make a day of it? When you’ve finished shopping, recharge your batteries in our café then head out on our family farm trail. Set in 15 acres of farmland, the trail follows a level path that’s just right for pushchairs and little legs; you can potter over to see the friendly chickens and ducks, visit Oscar the curious Ostrich and maybe take our vintage tractors for an imaginary ‘test drive’.
