Hailing from Normandy, France, Vignotte is a super-creamy soft cheese made with pasteurised cow’s milk. Extra cream is added during production, imparting an intensely creamy, rich texture that is perfectly balanced by a lightly tangy taste.

Origins

Produced in the Champagne-Ardenne region of Normandy, this velvety triple-cream cheese has a powdery white bloom to its skin and a soft white interior. The extra cream added during production makes Vignotte is exceptionally fatty (it is nearly 75% fat); this means it will add a touch of luxury to more humble ingredients, such as potatoes in Potatoes Dauphinoise or Tartiflette.

Storage Instructions Keep refrigerated. Once opened, use within 5 days. For optimum freshness once opened, rewrap the cheese so it is well sealed and airtight to avoid it drying out.

Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
