Carefully boned by Greendale Farm Shop’s skilled butchers, this breast of Lamb comes direct from the farm to your plate. With a delicious garlic and herb stuffing, it’s the ideal roast for a family get-together.
Greendale lamb comes from local breeding ewes, which are predominantly traditional breeds such as Blackface. After enjoying grazing on rich Devon pasture, the lambs are carefully selected when they reach the correct weight - they travel just eight miles to a local abattoir, the short journey helping to keep stress to a minimum. Hung for a minimum of ten days, the meat becomes flavoursome and tender. Our master butchers then prepare it on-site at Greendale Farm Shop, skilfully turning it into plump chops, classic roasts, burgers, meatballs and much, much more.
As the well-marbled meat in this joint shows, the lamb breast is the fattiest part of the animal; the fat renders out during cooking, resulting in delicious, tender meat.
This Stuffed Lamb Breast Joint is best cooked ‘low and slow’, for melt-in-the-mouth results. As a rough guide, put the joint in a casserole dish with the lid on and roast at 160°C (Gas Mark 2) for about an hour and a half; ensure the joint is properly cooked throughout before removing from the oven, and allow it to rest for a few minutes before carving.
Store in fridge and consume within 2-3 days of receipt, or freeze immediately. Suitable for freezing. All items are labelled with use by dates.

Standard National Delivery £7.95 - Order before 2pm and receive your items the next day, between 8am and 8pm. You can also specify whether you’d like it delivered in the morning or on a different day (up to seven days in the future, Tuesday to Friday).
Saturday & Sunday Delivery £10.00 - You can also choose to have your items delivered on Saturday or Sunday.
Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
