Product description

A Milk Stout with a twist. Stouts use darkly roasted malt to create the colour and ‘bitterness’ which can be quite polarising for some beer drinkers. We’ve used less darkly roasted malt and used the natural sweetness of caramel and lactose to give a beautiful sweet stout. Back hopped with mosaic will leave you with a malty biscuit based and blueberry on the nose. ABV 5%.

Origins

People’s Captain was a hobby of our Founder, Greg Bateman whilst based in Leicester bringing craft beers to rugby crowds. He worked with a handful of local and regional breweries, creating delicious recipes that kept people asking for more! The original American Pale Ale (now LEGEND) was Leicestershire’s most talked about craft beer. With a passion for great craft beer, Greg assembled the team who now run People’s Captain as its own entity bringing great craft beers.

Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
