Origins

"Pebblebed started as a community project in 1999, when 11 local families - under the direction of Geoff Bowen - came together to plant the first half-acre of vines in an idyllic setting just to the South of Exeter in Devon. From these beginnings, Geoff and his wife Anna quickly realised their passion for viticulture, and with considerable help from the community and local farmers, Pebblebed has grown to more than 20 acres of vineyards and a modern winery. In a good year, close to 50,000 bottles of wine are produced, both sparkling and still, and the company regularly wins medals and awards in local and national competitions. English sparkling wine is now widely recognised as some of the best in the world, and tastings have shown Pebblebed Sparkling to be amongst the best in England. Pebblebed’s vineyards are managed carefully, to encourage wildlife and reduce the impact of farming on the environment; its wines are made with similar care and the minimum use of additives in order to best exhibit the wonderful Devon ‘terroir’.Source: Topsham, Devon"

Delivery or collection, we’ve got it covered!

Click & Collect FREE - Order online and collect from our Farm Shop, on the A3052 Sidmouth road near Exeter. Collection options include ‘Same day’ (orders placed by 12pm), ‘Next day’ (orders placed by 2pm) or ‘Specified day’ (up to seven days in the future, Monday to Sunday).

Local Delivery £4.95 - We offer a local delivery service for customers living in the EX1 to EX15 postcode areas. Choose from ‘Same day’ (orders placed by 12pm), ‘Next day’ (orders placed by 2pm) or ‘Specified day’ delivery. (up to seven days in the future, Monday to Sunday).

Standard National Delivery £7.95 - Order before 2pm and receive your items the next day, between 8am and 8pm. You can also specify whether you’d like it delivered in the morning or on a different day (up to seven days in the future, Tuesday to Friday).

Saturday & Sunday Delivery £10.00 - You can also choose to have your items delivered on Saturday or Sunday.  

Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
