What’s amazing

It’s all in the oats. 100% organic oats that are grown in clean soil and spend the summer getting rained on to grow strong. It’s vegan approved, contains no added sugar whatsoever and is full of that big scientific word betaglucans* which are great for your heart.

What might be less amazing

If you are the kind of consumer who pays a lot of attention to the details, you might compare the back of all of our packages and come up with a theory that this particular product doesn’t have all the vitamins and extra calcium that our enriched products do. Of course it doesn’t. We are not allowed to enrich an organic product and still label it organic but if you think about it you can also choose an enriched product if that is more important for you.

Do Oatly’s products contain gluten?

Because we place special demands on the cleanliness of our raw oats, we are able to guarantee that Oatly products contain less than 100 ppm (mg/kg product) gluten from wheat, rye and barley. This is comparable to products that may be labeled “Very low gluten” and which are allowed to contain max 100 ppm gluten. We guarantee the same limits for all of the products in our range. Products that are labeled “gluten-free” may not contain more than 20 ppm gluten, and the gluten content in Oatly’s products is not this low.

* Betaglucans are good for the heart. As a part of a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle, they contribute to maintaining normal cholesterol levels in your blood. One 250 ml glass of Oatly provides a third (1 g) of the daily requirement of betaglucan.
