Hand-made by our expert butchers, these lamb burgers are made with quality, lean meat from Greendale’s own Devon-pastured animals.
Greendale lamb comes from our own flock of breeding ewes, which are predominantly traditional breeds such as Suffolk's and continental X's. After enjoying spring and summer grazing on the rich pasture at our East Devon farm, our lambs are carefully selected when they reach the correct weight - they travel just eight miles to a local abattoir, the short journey helping to keep stress to a minimum. Hung for a minimum of ten days, the meat becomes even more flavoursome and tender. Our master butchers then prepare it on-site at Greendale Farm Shop, skilfully turning it into plump chops, classic roasts, burgers, meatballs and much, much more.
We prefer to use meat from the leaner parts of the animal when we make our lamb burgers – that way, you get all the sizzle and flavour, with less of the fat.
If you’re lighting the barbecue, throw on a couple of these tasty burgers for a quick and easy meal. Simply brush both sides of each burger with olive oil and place over your preheated charcoal or gas-fired grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on either side – check the burgers are cooked all the way through – then pile into a bap with lettuce, cucumber and a torn mint leaf.

Local Delivery £4.95 - We offer a local delivery service for customers living in the EX1 to EX15 postcode areas. Choose from ‘Same day’ (orders placed by 12pm), ‘Next day’ (orders placed by 2pm) or ‘Specified day’ delivery. (up to seven days in the future, Monday to Sunday).
Standard National Delivery £7.95 - Order before 2pm and receive your items the next day, between 8am and 8pm. You can also specify whether you’d like it delivered in the morning or on a different day (up to seven days in the future, Tuesday to Friday).
Saturday & Sunday Delivery £10.00 - You can also choose to have your items delivered on Saturday or Sunday.
Fresh Greendale Produce - Meat and seafood will be bagged and ready to cook or freeze on delivery. All fresh meat and fish will be vacuum-packed and labelled with use-by dates and a suggested frozen shelf life. Packaging or labelling may change depending on preparation or delivery limitations. When the meat or fish has been packaged it is immediately placed in an insulated envelopes and surrounded with chilled gel-packs to keep it cool and in perfect condition.
