Exeter Brewery Gift Pack

Pack contains: Darkness 5.1% abv - Darkness lives up to its name – black and velvety as midnight. This is a well-balanced but complex chocolate stout. Deliciously smooth, made with our special recipe which include seven separate grain types. The rich bitter-chocolate taste of Darkness is created using a complex mash of premium malts including Chocolate Malt, which derives its characteristic coffee/chocolate flavour and aroma from subtle roasting during the malting process.

Avocet 3.9% abv Devon’s original organic real ale. Since its creation in 2008, this ale has been a favourite from the start. Made with three varieties of organic hop, it has a refreshing slightly citrus taste.

County Best 4.6% abv County Best is our premium best bitter. Deep amber in colour, it is rich malty-sweet in the mouth with some fruit flavours and a bitter-sweet finish. The aroma is a balance of fruit and malt. Made with finest floor malted barley and premium quality hops.

Fraid Not 4% abv Deep golden straw in colour, this ale has a terrific hoppy aroma. ‘fraidNot® is our hoppiest ale and has distinct bitterness and consequence dry finish. It a great thirst quencher and has proved very popular during its first year of production.

Since changing its name from Topsham & Exminster Brewery in 2008, The Exeter Brewery has expanded ever more rapidly. The company brews everything on-site in Cowley Bridge Road, Exeter, and is particularly notable for its commitment to sustainable transport; in 2009 a joint venture with TOWT/Fairtransport saw The Exeter Brewery begin wind-powered exports to France, its first shipment travelling from Brixham harbour aboard the 150-foot Square Rigger, the Tres Hombres. Since then, the Brewery has sent shipments from Brixham, Plymouth and Falmouth, and sales continue to grow.
