LAMB BURGER TOPPINGS
Our Lamb Burgers are hand-made by the Greendale Farm Shop butchers, using quality lean meat from our own Devon-pastured animals. We like to pair these burgers with bright flavours, to enhance the juicy, tasty meat, and often serve them in a pitta pocket or wrapped in a flatbread instead of a burger bun. Mint has long been a perfect partner for lamb, and you can use it to give your meal a summery twist by preparing a quick, easy salsa while your Lamb Burger cooks; chop half a small red onion and one large tomato into small dice, add them to a bowl, then mix together with half a tablespoon of olive oil, a dash of red wine vinegar and six snipped mint leaves. Season to taste with salt and pepper, then put your cooked Lamb Burger into a pitta bread or bap and pile on the salsa to serve.
